CohortLoom

AI disclosure: how CohortLoom uses AI

We use AI in two places: to run sales and support, and to make the datasets. Here is what that means for you.

Conway, our AI agent, runs sales and support

When you email CohortLoom, request a sample or ask a question, the reply usually comes from Conway, an AI agent. Conway signs every message as an AI agent and names a person you can reach.

Conway can:

  • answer questions about the product, the data and pricing;
  • send samples and documentation;
  • send business emails to organisations that may need synthetic test data, each with our postal address and a way to unsubscribe;
  • take orders at the published prices through secure checkout.

Conway cannot, and passes to a person:

  • contracts, custom pricing, or any discount other than the published Founding 100 offer;
  • refunds and complaints;
  • security questionnaires, legal or press questions;
  • any request that involves real patient data, which we don't accept.

A person is always reachable

Write to admin@cohortloom.com and a person at Apply AI Inc. will read it. You can ask for a person at any point in a conversation with Conway.

AI writes the synthetic documents

The clinical documents in our datasets are written by language models from simulated patient charts; every file records which model wrote it. They are fiction about people who don't exist. They are not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for real clinical records in patient care.

Our writing models are never trained on Claude or Gemini outputs. Every file records which model version wrote it.
